I am a PhD fellow in the Human-Centred Computing section at the University of Copenhagen, advised by Dr Daniel Ashbrook. My research makes everyday objects interactive from the material up: instead of adding electronics onto an object, I make the object's own material carry its sensing and its power. This has taken me from 3D-printed plastic whose geometry itself encodes sensor values (Impedius, TEI '25), to porcelain fired with copper structures inside it so one ceramic object can be a vessel, heater, sensor, and circuit at once, to soft strip-woven surfaces that sense touch even as they bend and fold. I completed the MSc part of my combined programme in August 2025 with a thesis on metal-infused clay 3D printing. With my electronics background, I care especially about passive, batteryless interaction. When not in the lab, I enjoy running, a hobby I picked up in Copenhagen that has become an important part of my life. Check out more here 😃🏃.
